What does the In-House Basketball Program entail?

The MYSA In-House Basketball Program is a recreational program that allows all players, regardless of ability, a place to play basketball and be part of a team. The cost for participation is $80 per registrant for players 2nd through 8th grade and $50 per registrant for players in 1st grade.

Practices

One weekday evening practice and one weekend practice starting after Thanksgiving. Once games start in January, teams drop down to one weekday evening practice. Practice length is 1 hour all season and is held at Metamora Grade School.

Games

All teams will start playing games the first weekend in January and continue through early March. There will be between 8-10 games played either in Metamora, Germantown or Washington. If your child likes basketball, is looking to improve their skills, and be part of a team, the MYSA In-House Basketball Program is a great option.

1st Grade Instructional League

The 1st Grade Instructional League provides a great introduction to the sport. Players meet every Saturday morning in January and February for a focused practice session and finish with games.
